Potential App?

As you can tell by the title, I am in the process of creating a potential app for "The People of Belmont Cragin."

I want this app to be a center for everyone to listen to the podcast anywhere!

I would like the logo to appear on screen before the options screen appears, like it does on Netflix or Hulu.

Then I would like the home screen to show some photos of the people or places featured in podcast episodes, the options tab will have a "Home, Podcast, About, and Blog" option to chose from.

On the bottom, the user is presented with the option to listen to the latest episode. This way, although there is a "Podcast" option on top, they can just open their app and listen to the episode right away on the home screen. It will also be able to play even if the app is not open on their screen. This way, audiences can be "engaged in real time," (Fling Ch. 4).

This will make my app unique because users will have a direct app to visit so they can listen to the podcast. It will be a single stop for all things, "The People of Belmont Cragin!"
